Anglican Rector Stephen Cherry Visits FOH
Stephen
and Maggie Cherry will be with us Sunday, August 31, as a part of their
visit in the area during his sabbatical leave as Canon of Durham
Cathedral in England and newly appointed Dean of King’s College.
The following is from Stephen’s book Barefoot Prayers:
Breath of God
be my life this day;
be my compassion.
Breath of God,
be my connection with your
places of distress and darkness;
with your places of despair and desolation.

flow where you are not expected;
flow where their is hurt and hatred.

flow where life is coming to an end:
flow into the kingdom of death.

Mennonite School classes of ‘72, ‘72 and ‘74 at Salem, Oregon, August
8-10. Harvey was interim principal there from ‘72-74.
